Our History
My name is Marty Loyd, my memorial career began in 1992. I have more than 25 years experience as a Memorialist. During the past 25 years, I have developed a extensive knowledge base with regard to all areas of memorialization including all types of lettering, cemetery regulations, footings, installation, repairs etc.
Legacy Memorials was established in 2012. We are a small family based business & we feel that memorialization is so very important. It is a process that we take very seriously.
We don't just have a customer, we have families.
We are here to help design and build a memorial whether it be for the loss of a loved one or planning ahead. If you can dream it we can build it.
Foundation
We believe that a quality memorial begins with the foundation. We hand dig the foundation, then drill piers using an auger. (The depth of the footing and number of piers are determined by the size of the memorial.)
Concrete
We mix concrete using ALL the proper ingredients (Sand, Rock, Cement, Water) mixed in a cement mixer creating a uniform mix.
Our system has proven to work very well in the ever changing Missouri climate.
